When you participate in field activities, you often camp in the wild. When we arrive at the destination to build a camp, it is extremely necessary to build a simple outdoor toilet. The outdoor latrines should be chosen in the downwind position of the camp. The location should be slightly lower than the camp and should be away from the river (at least twenty meters away). It is best to dig a rectangular earth pit about 30 centimeters wide, about 50 centimeters long, and about half a meter deep. Put some stones and fir leaves (eliminating odors). Three sides are surrounded by plastic sheets or boxes, fixed, and one side of the opening should be leeward. Prepare some sand and a shovel in the toilet and prepare another board or cardboard. Afterwards, use some sand to bury the excrement and toilet paper, and cover the pit with a board or cardboard to eliminate odors and maintain hygiene. In addition, there is a more obvious signboard outside the toilet so that people can see if there are people using the toilet farther away. When the camping is over, bury the pit with sand and mark it well and tell other people who participate in outdoor activities.
